By Sophia Carter

HBO Max is set to debut American Sign Language interpretations for House of the Dragon starting May 29, alongside other inclusive adaptations such as The Last of Us and The Pitt. This move aligns with the platform’s commitment to making content accessible to diverse audiences.

Alongside the main series, select films including Sinners and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will also feature ASL versions. Additionally, a new ASL adaptation of Wuthering Heights will join the service on May 1, further enriching its accessibility offerings.

The upcoming release of House of the Dragon Season 3—scheduled for August 21, 2026—will include both English and ASL versions, ensuring broader audience engagement. While details about specific launch dates remain under wraps, updates may surface during CCXP Mexico City events.

Beyond current releases, HBO is developing Game of Thrones: Aegon's Conquest, a film exploring King Aegon I Targaryen’s rise to power. Though release timelines are unspecified, the project signals continued investment in expanding the franchise’s narrative universe.

Subscribers to ScreenRant’s newsletter will receive exclusive updates on ASL streaming developments, including new accessible interpretations and franchise expansions. Stay informed about how these innovations enhance viewing experiences for all audiences.

As part of its accessibility initiative, HBO Max’s ASL collection features titles with visual descriptions and dedicated sign language tracks, accessible via the platform’s homepage or search function using keywords like “ASL” or “American Sign Language.”
