The four-month wait for a new episode is almost over as Superman is set to return to HBO Max next week - with a catch.

Though Kryto was introduced in James Gunn's Superman in 2026, the ending of that movie revealed that the canine actually belongs to his cousin Kara Zor-El, also known as Supergirl (Mily Alcock).

Releasing this summer, Supergirl's solo film will follow Kara Zor-El as she celebrates her 23rd birthday by traveling across the galaxy with Krypto.
