Sword Art Online’s revival is coming sooner than people thought, and that could be great for the anime community. As much of a punching bag as Sword Art Online was when it first came out, in recent years, it’s easy to see it as a fun and largely inoffensive action series that anyone can get into, all with some genuine depth now and then. It also helps that it rarely reaches the same lows as the that followed it, and with those still in overabundance, Sword Art Online would be a welcome breath of fresh air.
