Making The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess available to play on PC for the first time, Twilight Princess: Courage Reborn is the result of a painstaking process of decompiling the game's original code so that it can run separate from a Nintendo console. Luckily, the team behind Courage Reborn have been working on this project for quite a while, and although they managed to decompile the original game back in 2026, they have only just begun turning it into a playable PC port, complete with high resolution and improved framerates.
Throughout the process, the progress for Twilight Princess: Courage Reborn has been shared on YouTube, and in , we can see just how far the game has come, with it now reportedly being "completely crashless".
With the main goal now being "to get open source", the Courage Reborn project is the Twilight Princess remake we have all been waiting for, and better yet, it will soon be available to play on PC with the following features:
