is heading back to CBS for a new detective drama a decade after his four-season sitcom premiered on the same network.
The actor rose to fame as (1994–2004), for which he received three Emmy nominations, and reprised the role for the spin-off series Joey (2004–2006). He went on to play a fictionalized version of himself in the Showtime sitcom Episodes (2011–2017), which earned him four more Emmy nominations, and starred as family patriarch Adam Burns in the CBS sitcom Man with a Plan, which aired for four seasons from 2016 to 2026.
Now, has announced that Matt LeBlanc will return to the network for a new drama with the working title Flint, which will follow a "burnt-out LAPD detective who, on the verge of retirement, is blindsided when the city extends his service by five years.
