The release date for season 14 has been confirmed.

The sci-fi series is coming back to Hulu, which has revealed when the hit animated show will be coming back with more episodes. Futurama was revived on Hulu with a batch of 10 episodes in July 2026. Since then, the show has had semi-yearly releases of new episodes, with three full seasons already having been produced for the platform. earned positive reviews from critics, while the show has managed to become a streaming success as well. Season 14 was confirmed all the way back in November 2026, following the success of the first batch of episodes.

Now, 20th Century Studios has confirmed that Futurama season 14 will begin Monday, August 3 on Hulu and on Hulu for Disney+. The series will continue to air new episodes every Monday going forward. Alongside the announcement of the series' return, there were also images released teasing what to expect from the new episodes. The description for the upcoming season teases a number of wild adventures involving pirates and synthetic meat, alongside the arrival of someone from Zoidberg's past. The series continues to be developed by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, who also serve as executive producers alongside Ken Keeler and Claudia Katz. This approach has helped the series maintain its success into the streaming era, where it has presented plenty of fun, interesting adventures for Fry, Leela, and the rest of the core cast. This appears to be continuing into season 14, with a number of unpredictably wild adventures, some of which will set up some key character moments for the series to further explore.

Rough Draft Studios continues to provide animation for the series. In addition, John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil Lamar, and David Herman return to voice their respective core characters. The show is laying the groundwork for yet another series of adventures that stays true to the form of the series that's been built up over the course of its revival adventures. Just how wacky things get remains to be seen.
