Were they to appear in , multiple Marvel villains would translate seamlessly from the pages of Marvel Comics to the small screen. Prime Video's live-action Spider-Man series, centered on the exploits of its take on the Spider-Man Noir character, will bring to life a slew of established villains, utilizing both iconic and lesser-known names in the source material.

One of his most famous foes, Sandman, is expected to serve as one of the show's principal characters. Two more major villains in Tombstone and Silvermane will also be on hand, along with Megawatt, the one-and-done antagonist of Spider-Man Unlimited #2 in 1993. Clearly, Spider-Noir isn't hesitating to reach deep into Marvel's library and make use of characters viewers won't even be remotely familiar with.

That approach says a lot about the range of characters Spider-Noir is working with. Over the years, Spider-Man has fought dozens of super-powered criminals, many of which would feel right at home in the world of this particular iteration of the webslinger. Some already have counterparts in Spider-Man Noir's alternate universe, whereas others would require little - if any - reminaging to work in its story.

In addition to deep-cut candidates for roles in Spider-Noir, Marvel Comics also boasts a long list of notable Spider-Man villains the movies simply haven't gotten around to yet that could add a lot of value to the story and world the upcoming series is expected to build.

6 Black Fox

Black Fox in Spider-Man Marvel comics

Although far from the most formidable challenge Spider-Man has ever faced, Black Fox is a character with a long history of escapades that have put him and Peter Parker on opposite sides. Once renowned as a world-class thief, the elderly cat burglar has attempted a slew of ambitious heists, but they're typically foiled by Spider-Man. On other occassions, he's found himself the target of other characters, thus resulting in Black Fox needing Spider-Man's help.

Black Fox also helped train Black Cat, a connection that could be the basis of a possible role for the character in Spider-Noir. Spider-Noir has its own interperation of Felicia Hardy, played by Li Jun Li. There's no indication yet that she shares the comic character's roots as a thief, but given the film noir genre's heavy influence on Spider-Noir and its propensity for femme fatales, it's likely that she's not exactly on the right side of the law. When it fleshes out her backstory, it's possible that a version of Black Fox will be revealed to have had a hand in it.

Being a show about a Spider-Man character whose civlian alter ego is a private detective, Black Fox could easily work as the subject of a single-episode storyline, with Ben Reilly being hired to investigate mysterious thefts that ultimately point him in the direction of the famous cat burglar.

5 The Disruptor

Spider-Man vs the Smasher and the Disruptor(1)

A deep-cut villain in the same vein as Megawatt, The Disruptor a.k.a. Richard Raleigh was a slimy politician campaigning to be the next mayor of New York City in The Amazing Spider-Man #117 in 1972. As it turned out, Raleigh was heavily involved in organized crime; weaponizing a creature called Man-Monster, he engineered a scheme to fool the people of New York City and win himself favor.

Manipulative and corrupt politicians with ties to the criminal underworld are aplenty in the particular genre Spider-Noir is exploring, which is why a character like Richard Raleigh existing in the series is hardly outside the realm of possibility. He could be introduced as the mayor or a mayoral candidate in the pocket of Silvermane.

4 Man Mountain Marko

has confirmed that both Tombstone and Sandman will act as underlings for Brendan Gleeson's Silvermane. They may be his his most prominent henchmen in the series, but given his reputation as one of Marvel Comics' top crime bosses, he surely has many minions at his beck and call that haven't been seen yet.

Among them could be Man Mountain Marko, a gangster Spider-Man has been fighting since the villain's comic debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #73 in 1969. Standing out for his immense strength that rivals Spider-Man's, Man Mountain Marko was originally depicted as the right-hand man of Silvermane. He never developed A or even B-list villain status, but has nonetheless accumulated a long list of comic appearances through fights with Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Daredevil, and more.

As a brutish thug who answers to the very villain Spider-Noir has seemingly picked as its main antagonist, .

3 White Dragon

A white-clad, costumed martial arts master who wears a fire-breathing dragon mask may come across as an unorthodox choice as a villain for a show like Spider-Noir, but his appearance aside, White Dragon would make a great deal of sense for the series. Introduced in 1978's The Amazing Spider-Man #184, White Dragon is the leader of a Chinatown gang known as the Dragon Lords and a recurring adversary of Spider-Man.

It's no secret that in the universe of Spider-Noir, Silvermane has been subjected to various attempts on his life. What this suggests is that gang warfare will be a factor in the story. If other figures are angling for power in the criminal underworld and looking to eliminate Silvermane, it stands to reason that Spider-Noir will introduce some of the other powerful gangs in play, and that could very well include the Dragon Lords of Chinatown.

2 The Enforcers

The Enforcers account for three of Spider-Man's oldest enemies in Marvel Comics. Consisting of Ox, Montana, and Fancy Dan, the Enforcers made their first appearance all the way back in The Amazing Spider-Man #10 in 1963. Each character in the group have their own gimmick: Ox is the muscle, Montana is a lasso-wielding cowboy, and Fancy Dan is a martial artist. Together, the trio of hitmen accept numerous tasks for the gangs of New York City, often drawing the attention of Spider-Man in the process.

With organized crime evidently playing an improtant role in the story of Spider-Noir, the Enforcers certainly deserve a place in the show, potentially as hitmen hired by Silvermane to take down if his investigations become a problem. Alternatively, they could be behind one of the aforementioned assassasination attempts against Silvermane.

1 Hammerhead

Hammerhead tackling Spider-Man through a brick wall in Marvel comics

One of the biggest Spider-Man villains still missing from the webslinger's movies, Hammerhead is longtime foe of Peter Parker and a major figure in numerous comic storylines focused on organized crime. Spider-Man first battled Hammerhead in 1972's The Amazing Spider-Man #112, where he was introduced as a gangster with a technologically modified head.

Out of all the live-action Spider-Man projects that have been produced, none are a better or more fitting vehicle for a Hammerhead appearance, and that's not just due to his reputation as a mob boss. In the comics, Hammerhead is characterized by his manner of speaking and sense of fashion, which are inspired by 1930s gangsters.

The comics made sense of Hammerhead's outdated persona by explaining that it came about as a result of the character suffering from amnesia. Having forgotten who he was before, he developed his current identity after looking at a poster for a 1930s gangster film. But since Spider-Noir is actually set during this era, no canon justifcation would be needed for his personality and appearance.
