is certainly no stranger to offering up free games. Even this month alone, Steam has you can keep forever that are within a variety of genres and from a variety of developers. And that's not including the dozens of new games that get free demos or early access every month.

However, two free games are about to have their offers expire, so you'll need to be quick if you want to get them at 0 cost. Both games on will stop being offered for free in about 24 hours from the time of this writing, so if you want to save some money, be sure to add them to your library before April 20, 2026.

Steam Gamers Have 24 Hours For These Freebies

Nine Hells gameplay

Both Uncanny Tales: Cold Road and Nine Hells will no longer be free after today. Buying Nine Hells won't set you too far back, since it's normally priced at $0.99, but Uncanny Tales: Cold Road is slightly more than that at $2.99 ($7.18 if you buy the bundle that includes Uncanny Tales: 1992).

First up, let's talk about Nine Hells. It's a psychological horror game with a linear story and plenty of jumpscares. You'll spend a good bit of time walking around with a flashlight in the dark, so it's not really for the faint of heart. You play as Davie, a man who's trying to remember his past while traveling though Hell, which looks a lot like a haunted amusement park at times. Right now, reviews are pretty mixed for it, but there's not a huge sample size.

Don't Miss Out On Two Steam Hidden Gems

Next up is , the second entry in the episodic horror series that released on April 16 of last year (the third episode has a demo you can check out now). After wrecking her car, a woman takes shelter in the home of an elderly woman, and things aren't quite what they seem. You'll investigate items and rooms, run through the woods, and interact with a creepy old lady. What more could you want in a horror game?

Reviews are also Mixed on this one, but you can watch the trailer above and see if it's your cup of tea. And if horror isn't your jam, there are plenty of more too.
