It's a great time to be an fan, with several upcoming projects to be excited about, including the from Alex Garland and A24 Films, as well as the highly anticipated Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition set to release for Nintendo Switch 2 sometime this year.

With the Elden Ring film reportedly already starting shooting this month and set footage beginning to leak online, hype for the future of the franchise is hitting a new high at the moment. To add to the hype, Tarnished Edition has recently been made available for pre-order, indicating its imminent launch after being delayed due to performance optimization, though some players are questioning the .

It turns out Tarnished Edition isn't the only official Elden Ring release that will put a dent in your bank account, as and FromSoftware have an expensive new release slated for Thursday, April 30.

Official Elden Ring Release Drops April 30

Elden Ring fans can currently pre-order the official Ranni the Witch Sukajan Jacket, a limited-edition collectible currently listed on the Bandai website for roughly $200 USD. It's a premium collectible jacket modeled after "classic Japanese streetwear style," featuring one of Elden Ring's most iconic characters.

Though the price tag is a little high, the Ranni the Witch Sukajan Jacket is considered a rare collector's item, with only 1,000 units expected to ship worldwide. The collectible items are shipped in a premium collector's box and given a certificate of authenticity, and the jackets themselves are embroidered beautifully and made from "high-quality" materials, with "custom ribbing and spliced arm panels [and] a 90% polyester, 10% spandex shell with polyester lining."

If you're looking for more official Elden Ring merch in addition to the Ranni the Witch Sukajan Jacket, Bandai has recently released several new items on the official store, including a set of , gaming mouse pads, hand-woven blankets, and more.

It's A Good Time To Be Tarnished

Elden Ring fans got an unexpected surprise this week when set footage of the movie started leaking online, depicting the Lands Between in live action for the very first time in what looks to be an extremely faithful adaptation. Prior to this behind-the-scenes look, players were skeptical of the project, uncertain of how the world and story of the video game could possibly be adapted to a film and do it justice.

While those doubts are still around to some extent, it appears that the project is in good hands with Alex Garland and A24. With Tarnished Edition on the near horizon, which will include , according to an early statement from FromSoftware, it's a great time to be an Elden Ring fan.
