Exclusive Free PSN Avatars Available for *Saros* Launch

PlayStation is offering up a gift right now that translates to six downloads — all of which you can get for free. Even if you aren't a member of , you'll be able to get these free items, which makes the deal even sweeter. Whether you have or not, you'll still need a PS5, an internet connection, and have the correct code for your region in order to get these freebies.

Thankfully, we have the codes portion covered for you right here, so you won't have to worry about that part. The new free downloads come via PSN Avatars, which you now have to complete challenges or get codes in order to obtain. Similar to the earlier in the year, this latest batch is framed around a new release on PS5.

The new avatars are for Saros, which released just last week. Over on PlayStation's website, you can play through a short game to collect the avatars yourself. You'll need to hit "Call the Eclipse" on the Saros page to begin all of this. However, if you don't want to do that, the helpful folks at have listed out the codes already.

Depending on your region, the following codes will get you the Saros freebies:

  • North America: BN5Q-7B28-G7ND
  • Europe, Australia, and New Zealand: QLD2-2HD4-4NA2
  • Asia: T23N-MDCL-569D

After redeeming the code, you'll get six free avatars for PSN. Five of them are Saros bosses and one is of protagonist Arjun Devraj. You can download and install them on your PS5, and then set one as your avatar from there. It's really as simple as that.

While these six downloads are cool, it's also a nice reminder that Saros just released. The latest PS5 exclusive from Housemarque has gotten good reviews at launch. praised its "beautifully eerie" environments and said its story was a highlight, giving it an 8/10 score, so you may want to check this one out for yourself.

While getting new PSN avatars isn't as easy as it used to be, it's nice that PlayStation is still offering these up for free when major releases drop.
